In Paris, the great retrospective exhibition of Patrick Demarchelier to the Petit Palais is the major photographic event of the last quarter 2008.
In front of these marvels : pictures of nudes, of fashion, of celebrities, mixed with the treasures of the permanent collections, the reactions of the public are diverse and the contrasts sometimes a little surprising...

Another beautifully done gallery Alain. Great composition & humor! V. I was fortunate to go to a photo exhibit at Villa Noailles in Hyeres les Palmiers, FR while vacationing there in May, 2008. It was done on a smaller scale than your Parisian exhibit, but reminded me of this one.

It's always a treat to watch people in art galleries and when possible to shoot them watching. You did a great job by blending both original art with candid photography. You did a great job Alain. I like the way you integrated/present the averige visitor in the story of the pictures. That is really waiting for the right moment and the right color of the visitor in relation to the background. This also gives me the feeling I am looking at the exhibition through the eyes of the visitors. And maybe the visitors are the main subjects of your pictures. But they are worth looking at! So great composition and I also like the angle you took most of your pictures.
