LADAKH - A Little Tibet - A vibrant wonderland


In the western North of India, the immense natural beauty of Ladakh is a fascination.
Here nature's beauty is both raw and naked, desolate and yet live and colourful.
The words are insufficient to describe the virgin beauty of this land famous for the highest roads and passes of the world. ( 5000 to 5600 m )
Ladakh offers stunning landscapes, spectacular old gompas ( monasteries ) and an alive Buddhism.
Due to the strong influence of the Tibetan culture it is sometimes also called « Little Tibet »
This gallery is a small and humble attempt to capture some aspects of this magnificent country. I dedicate it to people of Ladakh and to the mountains of Himalaya...

Au nord-ouest de l'Inde, l'immense beauté naturelle du Ladakh est une fascination.
Ici la beauté de la nature est à la fois brute et nue, désolée et pourtant vivante et colorée.
Les mots sont insuffisants pour décrire la beauté vierge de cette terre célèbre pour les routes et les cols les plus hauts du monde monde. (5000 à 5600 m)
