Lovely shot and it portrays a very elegant effect. The expression of the photo is superb. This is an outstanding shot! Voted!

It never happens that way.The image in my mind was rebeling against circumstance.Of the final moments we had together.

I had prefered a serene vista rolling with fans of weeping willowss, trumpeting clouds and swans paddling in musical cadence across a silken blue mirror.Hidden away to ourselves dwarfed beneath an ancient maple's shade.Leaning shoulders with woven hands like the fingers of roots and branches embracing a bird cage around us.As we exchanged little cheeps and twitters.Upon our ricketty grey bench perch.Deeply inscribed with countless other initials and hearts.

It could have been that way if my departure was yesterday.Instead of now.We had that choice.Or another twelve hours.

Most of that sleepless.Zombied, refusing to let you go.Knowing that all we might have is just a potpourri of fondly fermenting memories.Never to feel your laughs skipping across the pillows.Or to untwirl your sunsilvered hair from my askew glasses.Or to watch the evening curtains inhale and exhale with your dreaming breath.

Now with the unjust consequence of rising before the dead.Knifing our lives seperately in blackness before we awoke. You chained before dawn towards work. And my compass stabbing an opposite direction to catch the only headlights out of town.

The bitterness burned sharply.Teasing a pendulum of your mane, dangling, back and forth.Between now and the absolute last moment. Our tick tock eyes locked tearful and stripped wordless. The scowling watch hands barely propping up the minutes marked across your face.Half falling away from the nocturn.Like a dear priceless china vase tipped in slow motion. To crash painfully awake.Cruel.

- wishing YOUR day to be owned with the fullness of joy that could fill a heart :) -

Once again a very interesting self-portrait, Ana. You always use the light in a so particular style.
I love here how it reveals your eye, your hand and your watch.

Have a nice weekend, Ana! Like the softness in this picture, oh, and by the way, beautiful eye shadow!
