June 2014: I'm way behind on posting my PADs. I open the folder for 25 February. My brow furrows. I'm sure that this shot has a meaning, but I cannot for the life of me remember what it is.

Then I consult my work calendar. I had been dispatched to a regional office to the north west of Sydney to conduct training on the budgeting system. I took this shot just after I had set up. Ah, of course. How could I forget, over 2 hours' drive there, over 2 hours' drive back. Of course, I normally commute that long anyway but it's normally in the comfort of a train where I can while away the time working on my computer rather than playing Kamikaze dodgems on the M5.

Edit April 2025: I think I may have meant the M7, there. It's been many years since we've had an office out there. I don't remember the last time I went out. I do however wish that the me from 2025 could have a chat with the me from the early 2010s to tell myself to take more of an advantage of these trips. I could have done a photo shoot of the town and the countryside surrounding it... but on the other hand with a 2 hour commute and an all day presentation, maybe that is easier said than done.

Oh my gods I just realised... look at the Excel version. That's the accursed Excel 2007, complete with its stupid little button. That is a lot closer to 20 years old than not. I'm suddenly feeling rather old.
