This rangefinder was donated to my 'cause' by my brother and his wife, Peter
and Ruth, as they recognised my 'addiction'. They did not know, however,
that my 'quest' is to find the earlier and bigger brother to this camera, the C-35, as
that model was my first rangefinder - and also a very good one. See image. Hanimex
was an import company in Australia which had good cameras 'rebranded'
and imported under the Hanimex brand.
This camera, c.1958, had speeds 1-1/300 and aperture f3.5-f22 in a Synchro
shutter. The rangefinder base is not as wide as some, but accurate nevertheless.
This model has a 50mm lens. As a footnote, the 'film reminder' on the rewind
crank button has BW speeds only 25-200asa, and Colour speeds only 10-32asa. The K-II
box in the picture is a 135-12 print roll, asa80 Din 20, expiry June 1978.
