This gallery consists of images compiled from various other galleries that I put together over the years. In addition, there are images from small sessions that I did not bother putting up in galleries or borrowed from galleries that are still in preparation. Photographically, these images are not necessarily my best images but somehow I like them for one reason or the other. I would like to keep only a certain number of images here and keep the number pretty constant; I am currently estimating not more than 100 images at any single time. I will replace some with future images that I may like better as I keep on taking pictures. Please visit this gallery from time to time.

I have been a Canon shooter since well before the dawn of the digital age. In addition, I also "flirt" with a digital Leica M rangefinder system, resulting in a few images in this gallery taken with that system. Some of you may have noticed that there are images captured using a Nikon system. Well, I added a Nikon camera and a few selected Nikkor lenses in July 2008 into my photography gear arsenal. Not because I wasn't happy with my Canon system but because I simply wanted to try something else. A few Nikkor lenses, mostly their pro-level zoom lenses, are truly excellent performers. However, Canon offers top-notch fast, prime lenses and in that respect their performance is somewhat better than comparable Nikkor counterparts. Of course, these are only broad generalizations. Basically, the main reason for me to use two DSLR camera systems was to try to get the most out of two truly outstanding platforms.

Fast forward to Fall 2010 - Despite the enjoyment of using two DSLR systems plus a digital rangefinder system, turned out to be too much for me. I didn't even have enough time/oppotunities to use a single system fully, let alone three. I ended up giving up my Nikon system and sold pretty much everything except for a few lenses toward the end of summer 2010. Concurrenntly, I became more "obsessed" with the rangefinder system with the introduction of the digital Leica M, namely M8 and later M9.
