Capri Bougainvilleas, is their time over?

Quantitative vs Qualitative

The owner of a hotel in Capri, in order to make room for sunbeds around the pool
extirpated a 30 years old Bougainvillea growing in peace inside his property.
Bougainvilleas are one of the symbols of the identity of the island.
What will happen, I wonder, if that behaviour becomes a habit?

What do you mean? From now on we'll go to Capri to do nothing else than playing cards? Briscola, canasta, or... scopone... ((LOL))
