Great Photos - world carvival was the best man. After being to Disney (boring - for small children only) and Ocean Park (rides too old) I can say that world carnival was totally cool. Seems there is some knob on this board who has something against them by keep posting bad reviews under different names. I really hope they come back next year as this year was so succesful they had to extend for another month.

So sad to see the carnival leave town. I really hope it'll be coming back last year - i agree Top Buzz is such a superb ride, of course it makes your head spin, that is the idea it gives you an adrenalin rush. It's much better than Disney and Ocean Park which is kids aged under 10 years old - nothing exciting in these places. I hope World Carnival will come back next year as I've been so many times the last 4 months - great value for money and cheaper than Disney and Ocean Park.

Hi dears the photos are nice but when u arrive in carnival u will find himself with cheaters instead of fun or any enjoy.I went there last week its ok entry is free but the cost of rides and games is too much expensive its range is out of your budget for fun.I would prefer to go to Disney rather than this carnival.I read all comments and agree with those who said have accidents in carnival many and fire cases.The prrof we all know there was fire in carnival.So i think as per suggestion nobody want stay there for a while after know how games are cheatfull and rides are insecure.

As an traveling Australian young woman I happend to chance upon both of these fun parks and got to know some of the workers from both fairs thoe not being able to comment on the quality of the rides on can comment of the quality of the shagging and I can say that the rooting i got from the euro theme park staff was much better than the carnival crew who had a tendency to shoot there wads while still soft a bit like the boss of the GREAT EURO THEME Mr Richard(not hard)buss.

Zien and xian and Chang - you are LOSERS! I doubt if you have even been to the Carnival, otherwise you'd realise how great it is. How safe it is. How great the rides are. When I went last week i saw many many many young kids happy with prizes they had won on the games - non of them dirty. Also having experienced the lame rides at Disneyland and the ancient old rides at Ocean Park I can say that the rides at World Carnival are so much better and more exciting. I am definietly returning to World Carnival before it sadly leaves Hong Kong at the end of the month.

Don't go to the carnival in the last day or in the last week to win toys because all the jumbo toys are DIRTY or have been washed prior to be given out to you people that pay a lot of money to win toys. If they offer you a toy from display do not accept it because is defenetly dirty and has been there since they open problaby.

You complain about the rides being the same,then say you prefer Ocean Park and Disney where the rides never change. Read what the people are saying on this message board the rides are fun and exciting and the carnvial is fantastic value for money. If there was no people going then why have they extended the stay until the end of March. I doubt that anybody would take your comments seriously.

If you want to win on the game called Bank It you have to trough the ball hard from quite low and it will land in the basket it needs to be low trough and hard quick.They have big toys on that game.

My friends went as a big group last week and they loved it! They were so excited and couldn't wait to go again! and the people who called the staff ill-mannered. They probably didn't get your poorly strung sentences, and indicated that they couldn't understand... And also, more than AIA, I would be worried about disneyland and ocean park. Because the rides in AIA are portable, they will probably be checked more often for damages during travel, than the stationary ones in ocean park. So technically, the AIA rides actually could be safer than oceanpark and disneyland. AND I LOVE THE PHOTOS! theyre so nice!

if your concerned about the safety of the hongkong world carnival check out the requirements of the local government safety body known to you as the electrical mechanical services department just ask them what is required for any public event to take place in hongkong or if thats to much trouble for you just look in any elevator in any building in h.k. and you will see an e,m,s,d, safety certificate and thats just a lift let alone a high speed state of the art fairground attraction such as top buzz or g-force ......hellloooo wake up and smell the coffee doe doe,s

People who say is dangerous don't know what they are talking about. This carnival is really safe. Moreover the rides are really exciting - I had a superb time and great value for money only $120 for all the rides non stop, so much better than Disney and Ocean Park.

Agree with Andy Lau here, this carnival is so exciting and great value for money. Maybe not for children, but for those between 14 and 40 it's so much fun. Also it is 100% safe. I didn't feel like the rides were old or dangerous. Get yourself down there and enjoy it for yourself - it's only here until March. I'll certainly be going a few more times before it leaves town.

HA HA HA! I think you people misunderstood my last message. I said that Disneyland is for 5 year old children, which I think is what the age of people on this message board is. If the rides make you sick then don't go on them. You obviously don't like excitement and are very boring people. The rides are very very exciting, they go fast and spin you around, really really fun. There is no fun for people my age group (23 years old) at Disneyland and Ocean Park, but World Carnival is really exciting. If you are between the age of 5 and 10 then go to the really boring rides at Disneyland - if you are looking for fun and excitment then go to world carnival.

Hui - How old are you? Disney is for 5 years olds, nothing exciting hear man. World carnival rocks, G Force is wild, total excitement. It's so funny that all you people think that the rides are unsafe. THERE HAS NEVER BEEN AN ACCIDENT AT WORLD CARNIVAL IN SEVEN YEARS. The people who say it is unsafe and dangerous are quite simply liars! I've been to World Carnival twice in January and it is fanstastic value for money, unlimited rides for just $120, plus you get a bag of tokens to use on the games. Much better value than Ocean Park and Disneyland and rides are much more fun and exciting than those found in these places.

There are some very ignorant people on this message board. Some simple facts. 1. World Carnival Rides are safe, there have been no accidents in the last 6 years 2. The rides are all less than 7 years old, compare this some of the old rides at Ocean Park 3. The rides are a lot more exciting than those baby rides found at Disneyland 4. The games are not a cheat, they are difficult to win, they are designed like this, why would they operate a game where everybody was a winner?? 5. The staff are not racist, as mentioned by top buzz it seems the people on this message board are racist. We Chinese shold be happy that we get a chance to experience such a great exciting carnival in our city.

hi,I read some comments many peoples are right on this matter that in world carnival have accidents and its games are cheat Im working in Hong Kong News paper Kowloon Daily and I met some ride operators they were agree on this point that Rides are old and have many time accidents and even some Games attendats are also saying the Games are cheats.so now chinese peoples understand thats why they dont like to go in this cheat carnival.we will publish a report soon about policy and how to make peopels stupid under the name of Fun

So would the Hong Kong government allow the world carnival to open if all rides and games were not up to their high standards in health and safety? I dont think so! You have the strictest rules with regards to amusement rides opening on your soil, there have been no accidents involving rides at the world carnival in its 6 years operating in and around Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore (very strict on rules and opened there so.....) Please check statistics on this matter, as you will be surprised! Also racism is taken very seriously, the last comment was very generalised and racist against English people (alot of staff are in fact Welsh, which is not English).

I can assure all you ignorant people out there that these rides are more than safe, looking at statistics you will see they are safer than park rides...fact, that includes disney, dont believe me, type it into a search engine and see the figures, you will be alarmed! And with regards to the idiot who said the bungee, g force and top buzz were ancient, erm the oldest of them is only 7 years old, and has been meticulously looked after, the top buzz is the most famous travelling ride in the world and is one of the safest. get you facts straight. these are highly expensive well built pieces of machinery, the wheel built in 2004 at a cost of nearly £5 million UK pounds.

the carnival was alright...but i would prefer disneyland or ocean park. the rides weren't anything special and the staff were rude but it was still fun. the carnival games weren't any different than other carnival games: they're all hard to play and you'll probably never win but you waste tokens on them anyways because they're all fun. (btw, you get a free bag of tokens when you go in but your second bag costs more than your admission). overall, i would give this carnival a 3/5.
