During the 2003 Bird Flu scare. I arrived in Yap quite late at night (this photo was actually taken as I waited to depart) to the most bizarre greeting of all the countries I've visited; standing between the plane and the terminal building were these health inspectors checking everyone's temperature, while just past Immigration were a couple of topless teenagers (of both sexes) doing a traditional Yapese dance. Beats landing at Melbourne!
