Seller's Description: Needs mostly cosmetic restoration. Runs and is currently California registered in my name with the original blue and gold plates that went on the car when it was new. Interior needs restoration. Has been in storage for over 5 years. 15" Fuchs. Relatively unmolested. Battery tray has some rusting but supports look ok. Longs seem to be in good shape as well. Some surface rusting in the corners of trunks but no rust-through or holes. Has some minor oil leaking from tranny area but not too bad. Leaves a spot about 2 inches across after being parked for two months in the same spot. Original tailshift transmission. Shifts through all gears with no drama. Has never been wreck ro my knowledge. It's all there. Will need paint. Original square cut-out bumpers in good shape except rear has a small dent. Very repairable. Original front driving lights. Decent driver while you work on restoring the cosmetics. replacement early backpad included. Seats need restoration.

Restored examples are going for twice my price. Even nice 6-cyl conversions are going for $25K-$35K. This is a real Porsche built 914-6 with VIN starting with "914" rather than the VW made 914's which say something like 473 or 474.
