...These photos show the complete mechanical headlight kit used in the racing 914-6 GT cars. A simple and very lightweight system. The drawback? Once you release the headlight mechanism and the headlamps pop-up, you have to get out of the car to push them back down.

Hey Armando, I am on the search like you. So far all I have found is a person on the 914club forums that states you can get a kit from Germany (very expensive) from here: www.mittelmotor.de/content/default.aspx I have not had any luck getting a response from the company, so if you have luck please let me know! Out of frustration, I have decided to start building my own kit sourcing parts from motorcycle suppliers and fabricating my own pieces. Depending on how my efforts pan out, I may take the leap into providing kits for sale to the 914 community. Have a good one and good luck on your hunt, Matt

Has anyone compiled a parts list on where to get some components to fab up our own ? I know that much of these components can be found online.
