...I'm also a vintage lamp collector and actually look at some of these lamps as a work of art, they certainly are! As I add more lighting to my collection, I will continue to post more of these rare vintage headlights and projector lamps as used in the late 60s' and 70s' by Porsche, Ferrari and several other exotic automobiles of the period.

I had a pair of Cibie Biodes on two cars between 1969 and 1975. I thought at the time that they were the best headlights I had ever had. I still do. Is there any chance I could fine another pair? If not, what would be the closest headlights commercially available? Any other previous Biode owner's opinions will be appreciated.

I think a 55W bulb would be the standard for a PF 160. I have run 80W or so in my vintage Carellos, but I wouldn't go any higher than that. Any interest in selling the light?

I have a pair of 1970's Carello driving lights. They were about 500,000 watts? each. They have lost their silver. Can they be restored? Are they worth it? What would be their value if restored? Thanks for any help/advice. RParrott(manolora)
