Ralph Meaney #18 Porsche 914-GT - sn 914.043.xxxx

This GT was sold to one of the mechanics and later crashed suffering front-end damage. The GT was later repaired with a front-clip and current whereabouts remain unknown.

Correction: The photos of the Meaney car shown in this photo gallery are not the same as the "Dynamic Airconditioning" car. That car and photo gallery can be seen here

I saw one of the two Ralph Meaney cars in the mid 1970s when it was owned by Bob McClurg in New Jersey. It was still in Ralphs colors and had all of the neat GT pieces. I think that this is the car that was wrecked at Sebring? and had a factory replacement chassis ( I spoke with Ralph about it and he provided this information). Ray Hendricks, also from New Jersey, bought the car around 1980 and raced it extensively in IMSA as a GTU car with Ray and Bruce Jones driving in eastern IMSA events. There are pictures of it on the web, it is the Dynamic Airconditioning car. The last I knew, Ray still owns it.
