ME--"Ische ga bibble?"

MOUNT CLEMENS MICHIGAN

AND LOVING IT!!!
S.P. on nature trail at Metro Beach.
Don't let this photo fool you. It was cold.
I LOVE this stuff! I love the woods. I love being outside
and I don't care about the weather.
For some reason, I flourish in this stuff.
Until I get cold.
btw I have a confession to make. This is partially phony.
I took the camera from another photo and added blowing
snow in front of it.
The rest is real. Trust me.

Its all an illusion. I am cold all the time in winter.

Well, you did a great job of creating this look of a snow storm! Fabulous portrait!

I know that feeling, Me too I walk in the cold until frozen still, then take a popsicle to warm up! :) Action SP. V

I lived in Illinois one year, the snow is pretty but it gets old after say..two days. Waiting for you Larry!

I like Kelly's comment way below. It's snowing hard right now. It's pretty but it gets a little old after, say, October. Almost enough to make one want to move to Florida...

Not that fast, Barbie!
Come on up in January
and see the real snow.
I'll be waiting here........

This is beautiful.
When the hot, humid, horrible, hurricane-prone
days of August in Florida arrive, I'll pull up your
"snow" shots and cool off!

Nice shot, Larry ... looks like a nice summer day in Northern Michigan. Of interest to you may be that Ish Kabibble, a former member of the Kay Kayser orchestra, was from my home town (Erie, PA) altho we both moved once we realized where we were ...

snow shots are my favorite

sharp clear good skin tones excellent v

I don't miss 'em either, Steve. Sad, but true.

Nice SP, Larry. Forget all those comments by the sun worshipers, the snow is beautiful, but it's sometimes better to look at it in a photograph than be in it. Honestly, though, I lived in Rochester, NY for 8 years and I have to say I don't miss the long winters.

Wonderful SP! Glad you are pulling your gloves on. Good day for that. You haven't had any of that stuff this year yet, have you?

This photo makes me really appreciate the hot sticky summers of North Carolina. Thanks for the attitude adjustment, Larry.

Okay, Gary. I can take a hint. Between you and Dave Beedon and John Cooper and Lee I know I will have to relocate when I retire.

It's a good shot, but what's all that white stuff? Oh that's right -- we had that back in Cleveland when I grew up there. Thank goodness for San Diego! :-)

One more vote for Florida. . .or... Sunny So Cal!:)
1moremile05-May-2006 09:11
It's pretty sometimes but not often enough to make it worthwhile. I seriously think of Florida and my daughter.
Dave Beedon04-May-2006 09:32
That type of nature I can do without, even though I grew up with similar winters (Rochester, NY). Moving to the mild climate of Seattle changed my attitude: snow is fine as long as it stays in the mountains. I must admit, though, that the snowy grass looks nice.

Wow, this is a tough act to follow. I love Kelly's comment.

See Dad this is why I'm moving to Florida. Brrrrrr
