If only life was as simple as cropping photographs.

If my girlfriends ever got hold of my wallet back then, they'd be running their fingers through thin air. I was always broke. I tried to wait out the disco wave, hoping for something better musically to come along. I don't think it ever did, although there were a few groups that cut through the fog for a little while.
Look at those curly locks! Say what you will, it was fun to run your fingers through the boyfriend's wavy hair. Bell bottoms have come and gone for several cycles since those days. As for the song messages, I don't remember which were sixties and which were seventies, so I can't make a case one way or the other. Never had any use for disco, though. I was a folkie, so the glitter balls and lighted dance floors seemed very silly. It's nice of you to share this photo for the memories it kindles.
I remember those day, too, Lee. I did have a lot of fun. I didn't like the culture of the seventies though. The music was great but the message in some songs was just plain wrong. It's too bad some folks actually looked up to idiot performers as their role models. Sorry for the rant...
