July 13

This is a picture of the 200' ejection seat tower used to test jet fighter ejection seats back in the day at the Naval Air Development Center in Warminster, Pa.
NADC was used for a testing center for the original Mercury astronauts because of the world class centrifuge that was built there as the space race heated up. The Naval Air Development Center closed years ago and the buildings and runways were converted to commercial and residential usage.
The ejection seat testing tower remains and is probably just used for an antenna tower now.
