The body is changing. Will it be a boy or a girl? How should
we decorate the nursery? Did I feel something move? The
delivery!? Are we ready to be parents? Do you like Aksel for
a boys name? Will..........................................

The mind is racing with questions at 20 weeks :)

NOTE: Converted to B&W. Curve Adjustment Layer added. Grain
added for the "old photo" look.

so nice. i love the composition here, with her out-of-focus face gazing into frame, towards the reflection of her pregnant figure, which in turn is leading out of the frame...projecting ahead, into the unknown.

Nice comp and processing, hope you enjoy your parenting classes, stop your mind from racing and start catching up on sleep now:)

Dreamy and creative capture my man! Best of luck, that wonderful child would never be afraid of thunderstorms! With a Daddy that is running around with a riotgunlike camera and a big flash on it all day...........

Scott,
You will make wonderful parents! Really nice and sensitive image and commentary.
The best to you and April :)
Shu17-Nov-2005 00:09
Great lighting and very touching commentary, too. You are asking all the right questions. Your sensitivity will come in handy in your roll as "Dad." Your camera will be working overtime once the little one is born. How many unique shots will this proud new daddy be taking?? (smile) My best to you and April, Scott. shu

I didn't know you were expecting. Congratulations! I like the photo (b&w, mood) and what you have written. What a lot of wonderment they bring! But, as my grandmother said, "They come with the instructions written on their heel."--Rene

Very nice with her blurred face in the foreground. Nothing can prepare you. It is one of those "learn as you go" kinda projects..:) You'll love it! Enjoy the ride!

Excellent image, enjoy all of it. Regards!
Della Huff15-Nov-2005 21:03
Wow, very nice. I like the dark tones throughout the image - it emphasizes the "contemplation" in the image, and makes it feel like a very private moment. I can't wait to see more photos as you both progress through the pregnancy!
