Chucky Cheese in Franklin

I shot in the dim light of Chucky Cheese at my nephew's
4th birthday party. My goal was to experiment with
adding Adjustment Layers and hopefully get some family
memories. Both of these images have two Ajustment
Layers added (Threshold and Brightness/Contrast) that
are adjusted for their individual settings and then
blended in with their Fill and Opacity adjustments
(about 15-20% Fill and 8-12% Opacity).

The other of the birthday boy...

I think there may be something to this process. I
definitely am blindly feeling my way through it right
now.

I love an image like this....a private moment captured for all time. These two are, as you say, connected for a moment in their own relationship. This is a thing of beauty.

Scott,
Connected is such a apecial photo. The way the child is caught in total concentration. The adult talking to the child, awesome capture.
About everything else that you were talking about, the layers and what not you lost me, but please don't stop with telling us what you do to your photo's there are so interesting.

Great interaction here and well named. You can see they are connecting. Thanks for sharing information on your process and use of adjustment layers. I love using them though have not worked with threshold. I do a lot with curves and channel mixer for changing to b&w. The marvelous thing about adjustment layers is you don't mess with your original pixels.--Rene
