Large-Leaf Grass-of-Parnassus is an infrequent perennial
with large glossy round-obvate basil leaves and 8"-16"
stems holding terminal single flowers with 5 petals
showing prominant green veins. An autumn bloomer found
in limestone seeps. This patch was found in the back
corner of my property at the base of steep hills along
the edge of the stream where springs seep out over a
shallow limestone shelf.
