12. Bon Scott (7/9/46-2/19/80) "Have a Drink on Me" (AC DC) for my new gallery "Telling
Stories from the Grave" and for the November Song Titles/One Artist Challenge.
"Whiskey gin and brandy
With a glass I'm pretty handy
I'm tryin' to walk a straight line
On sour mash and cheap wine"
..."Ironically" this was on his parting album... On 19 February 1980, Scott, 33,
passed out after a night of heavy drinking in a London club called the Music
Machine (currently known as the KOKO). He was left to sleep in a Renault 5. The
following afternoon Scott was found lifeless. Scott was rushed to King's College
Hospital in Camberwell, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
