One note of importance that I will state here. This incident is the secret dream of the "rulers" of our government.
That is, to have all of the unwanted elements of your city (the poor, destitute, sick, homeless, less fortunate and
oppressed peoples) to be removed in one fell swoop. Opportunities now abound. The CARPETBAGGERS are
coming and as the city of New Orleans is rebuilt my guess is that many of the people that have been displaced
will not be returning or will not be allowed to return.

UPDATE: 12 September 2005:
A number of Republican Congressmen have come under criticism in recent days for comments made about the
hurricane. Congressman Richard Baker (R-LA) of Baton Rouge was overheard telling lobbyists "WE FINALLY
CLEANED UP PUBLIC HOUSING IN NEW ORLEANS. WE COULDN'T DO IT, BUT GOD DID."
