The 'Flaming Star Nebula' ( IC405) in Auriga

AE Auriga is embedded in this flame-like shaped nebula. The blueish color of a reflexion nebula and the red of a hydrogen cloud intermingles to different shades of purple around the star.
To the lower left is another emission nebula - IC410. An embedded star cluster has generated the doughnut shape.
