This is a collection of photos from dayhikes to the Winchester Mountain lookout in September 2002 and October 2003. For a short nine mile hike on the wilderness edge this mountain has some fantastic scenery. The bright red fall foliage from the October hike was spectacular as you can hopefully see in the images below:

Been there way back in 1995. Didn't expect to find this gem of a hike. These photo's sure bring back some good memories.

I have been up to the twin lakes, Mt. Winchester area many times. I so do enjoy looking at your pictures of that area as it brings back so many memories. All your pictures are so beautiful, you truly have a gift of capturing the right moment, and being from Washington and having been to alot of the places you photograph your site is always on my computers favorites list......Thank You...E.Gates
