Wow I *love* those IR pics. I was interested in Infrared photography when I was younger (about 12, im 22 now) but at the time I couldnt afford to get into it, because I was just a kid lol. Now however, I'm not! Sweet! I'm afraid I have to ask the same question as everyone else tho, how the heck do you adjust the image to get those colours and clarity? Did you make that book? Can you email me your 'workflow' if you didnt? I *have* to have a go at this, those images are so inspiring and amazing.. Thank you for making them!!!

Thanks Daniella. I know most of the basics in Photoshop, but I'm not too sure how to fix this. I was thinking about creating a new layer with a radial gradient, but I'm just reading up on it :0)

Your IR pics are probably the best I have found on the Internet by the way. I've not got any that come even close to yours...

Hello,

The hot spot on the dimage 7 is more of a hue shift than a real change in brightness. It is not so hard to fix using hue correction in Photoshop. I am currently writing an ebook on infrared with all the explanations how to correct this and my workflow to produce color IR. This ebook should be available for a small cost sometime this summer. It is a lot of work to do though so not sure.

I recently bought a Dimage 7 and Hoya R72 filter but I get the dreaded hotspot on all of my images. Do you get these on yours, or are you getting rid of them during post processing? I also noticed a few comments about a workflow you have. Is this still available somewhere? I have looked all over, but can't find it.

Again, I want to say I love your pictures and I too like all here would like to know what your workflow is and how you make the IR's look so pretty. I emailed asking you but you never said what you did. Is it a special technique that you don't want to share? Just say so and we will understand.

Hi Daniella!

Love your works! I got me a Hoya and worked with it on my 10D and D30. the results are good in terms of composition, but your treatment adds a lot of vivdness to the ghostly images, and I love that. Didn't you used to have a gallery explaining your workflow? I can't find it all of a sudden, and I was in the middle of learning and experimenting...

REALLY a great gallery! I'm really impressed by your work; very inspiring! Maybe when I get my D-SLR I'll play some more (just too expensive to play much with my film camera hahahaha) :)
