Sigma SD14 with 18-50 lens on visit to Jaen, Linares and some nearby villages
Short trip, with one night stay - enabled more exploration as saved return trip of 2 hours if only a one day visit. Images only quick auto-processed. Will, of course, process those I want to print.
The old photos were printed on to tiles and then incorporated into benches - In Linares - superb city. The long walkway, wide and with many trees and beautifully designed lamps, had these benches about 30 feet or so apart - and for what we reckoned was around ¾ mile long. Fantastic project and a superb way to display many aspects of the city over many years. Can thoroughly recommend anyone to visit if ever in the area. Many lovely statues in lovely squares too - and great side street filled with a wide range of interesting shops. We went there (not much info on the internet) thinking it was going to be a small village but perhaps one of the nicest and most interesting cities in Andalucia in Spain. 1-7 in small village of Cambil. 8-15 Jaen Cathedral area. 22-61 in Linares. At first, before we reached it, we both thought Image No:47 was Winston Churchill. Images 65-70 were ply roofing panels, shot from underneath, into which water had seeped and formed amazing images. Note that last image (No:77) is from my android smartphone - shows one bench to demonstrate the whole.
