There's a Tour of Anchorage on skiis and there's a cycling Tour. For the most part it's the same people in each. One day the snow is gone so you put away the skiis and pump up the bike tires. This year the bike race attracted 140 riders, most of them from Anchorage. I'm a stranger to the Alaska bike racing scene and I don't know the riders so I'm hoping people who cruise by the site can identify who's in the foto. I shot pictures of Nevada City in 1966 and now I've got all these old stoners my age leaving me notes like "I remember this dude but I can't remember his name! He could climb like Charlie Gaul and his girlfriend was really bitchin!" No substitute for good caption material. Also, if you rode one of the time trials, please leave your time....your real time, not the one you hoped for. Old riders like me say "The older you get, the better you were!"
