While at the Coors race I watched the team mechanics go over the bikes at the end of the day. Before too long I was helping....but I learned how to do it like a real pro. I heard about a Spanish rider who would take his bike into the shower with him after each stage in the tour. That's not a bad way to do it, as long as your mom or your wife doesn't see it.
