One of my favorite places in the whole world. I like to get up early, get a capuccino, and read the paper while sitting on the wall. This boat harbor was in use at the time of Christ. When I first saw it in 1971, the boats were all wooden. Here, in 1980, there's a handful of wooden boats. When I was there during the war there were only a few of the old wooden boats left. The plastic boats are probably cheaper, they require almost no maintenence, and because they are lighter they require less fuel.
