This five-stage race in May of '84 was a good one and well attended by top riders. There was even a Swedish national team, in California for early season conditioning. Somebody is going to supply me with names of these riders, who are sprinting for top place in one of the stages in the wilds of Marin County. The race was promoted by mountain bike pioneer Chris Lang. At least I think that was his name....
