I don't recall this guy's name, but he was typical of the sort of doctor that signs up to work at Maniilaq. The docs tend to be more focused on an interesting, more personal medical practice than what they could find in the better-paying lower 48. What I couldn't understand was why the Maniilaq staff was always so disrespectful to the doctors. It's like the more skill and education you have, the lower you are on the pecking order. The docs had to eat shit from everybody, from the janitors on up.
