This year we seem to have a record amount of wasp/hornet nests.
These white face hornets built a nest two feet from another nest that is a twin to this one.
Along with all the other nests they seem to be concentrated in one area between
the shop and the lodge. There must be a significant food source close by.
They haven’t created any problems so I leave them alone and
it’s been interesting to look in on them when I am out for walks.
