15th April

yesterday was the news and today is the weather report heheh

Been a nice day, not that you can tell on the pic because it went greyish when i took this pic
but it didn't rain, it was just passing over trying to find its way back to Wales i think... ;-)

Can you see the standing stones in the distance?

good landscape with the tree and the gate to lead the eye in. shame it greyed over.

No rain Zak, but something was burning over your way! Like the shape of the tree, I wonder which way the wind blows ! :)

Well I *think* I can see them yes ;) Wonderful landscape, love that tree!

I can't see the standing stones (blind as a bat) - perhaps a pic for tomorrow?

Nice composition and positioning of the gate. I'm sure the weather forecast said it was going to be sunny today...rained heavily tonight here!
Guest 15-Apr-2005 22:26
Would that be the ones that the gate is cleverly pointing towards?
Guest 15-Apr-2005 22:06
The gate is a fantastic part of the pic - draws you into the field

I really love the positioning of the tree in this image. It is as if it is framing itself. Very nice with the cloudy sky in the background.

Great photo - the top half makes the day look dreary and the bottom half lets you see the green grass and blue skies of a nice spring day. I guess how you look at it depends on whether you're a "glass is half full or glass is half empty" type of person. :-)

Beautiful tree and the gray sky suits it.
I'm not sure what a standing stone is and I don't think I see it.
