15th November

wet and windy here again today,
If i hadn't of used an old pic yesterday i wouldn't of gone out today
but as i did i headed round Ettrick way,

I got out the car to take this pic,
i'm surprised it even came out alright
as i was getting blown from side to side!
the other 2 i took down there didn't quite make it :-(

Its always colder and windier down there though because its open,
it reminded me of my beachwatch days
walking that very beach and cold and frosty mornings
not allowed to leave until we had done up to a certain spot
then returning the next morning etc...

ah well, time for a cup of tea...

I bet you didn't have much company on that beach :)

Days like this you can feel like your the last person on earth....now if you were a writer there could be a great beginning to a story here. Like the mono tone Zac

Although I prefer our weather I have to admit that there is something attractive about a rainy, windy day at the beach.

Beachwatch? What's that involve (ask a silly question right!)? Looks beautiful Zak, very desolate, but the kind of place you could spend a couple of hours regardless!

Good training for Glencallum later though, esp the west side. At least there's rocks there to hide behind from the sea breeze/gale.

Now, that's the real Scotland! I had a horrid time this morning cycling into work - hope the wind hasn't changed direction and I get blown home...
