That'd the trouble with decorative finishes - ongoing maintenance (and a tougher life near the sea). Forgotten by modern designers more interested in looks. My neighbour had something similar poured over his drive a few years ago - every year he now has to pour/brush gallons of stinking chemical gloop over it to keep it from degrading. Wonder how long it will last after he gets fed up?
