You are bang on for location James McNicol. My friend, the late John McVey, was fishing for sea-trout there up until the 90s. Tho I havent seen the old bridge since the 50s.

I think this is this the Ettrick Burn? When I was younger (late 50's), I used to catch sea-trout in this pool. I wonder if they still run?
