Wow, Bute really does deserve "the Madeira of Scotland" nickname. We have nothing like this only 30 miles along the road in the burbs of the big city. Out for a walk today, I was looking for signs of spring on the ground, and the best I saw was some green shoots, probably destined to be daffodils one day, but no snowdrops anywhere. And then the sky threw a light hail shower at me for being too hopeful!
