Bark of the tree

Self-sown eucalyptus tree on the edge of our driveway

A close up to show how the bark peels from the tree year-long, and some damage
is caused by koalas climbing up the tree in a hurry. They like trees which are
easy to climb and hate trees with a straight vertical climb and no low branches.

Love the mixture of pastel colours revealed as the old bark peels away.
