The first Dutch iris of the season...

A lovely spring day, blue skies and no rain, a lovely day for working in the garden.
Here you see the very first bloom from this batch of iris,
there are more to come and they seem to last for a long time,
much longer than a bearded iris.

This one is called "Apollo"
