We rarely use these now, our family opt for mugs for day-to-day use, but we do bring them out when
we have special dinners & afternoon teas for invited guests. I have some that have never been
used - such is the more casual fashion these days! I can remember when cups were always served
on a saucer and mugs weren't even heard of except maybe a tin pannikin which were
taken on bush picnics to drink the billy tea.
