Maple Syrup - 14

Straight from the fridge. A change from yesterday's offering!

I'll catch you all later in the week, we're off for a few days holiday.
When we return I'll put the recipe for the Christmas Cake on the
relevant page, my cousin sent it to me late last night.

Wonderful on pancakes - and it makes a wonderful salad dressing using it in place of brown sugar when making a mustard vinegarette!

Have recently discovered 'real' Maple syrup which is a treat on pancakes.

Oh great, reminds me that I did not have a real pancake in the nearby Netherlands this year. Very nicely shot, this bottle! Almost a modern painting in the background, i like it.

Maybe I've led a sheltered childhood, but I don't think I've ever had maple syrup...not even on numerous visits to north America...am I missing out? Great shot Yvonnne, have a lovely few days with the boys!

We only use real maple syrup in our house! None of the imitation stuff. I've not seen this brand in the U.S. Nice treatment on this shot! Enjoy the Holiday! We'll see you in a few days!

Nice use of limited DOF. There is Maple Syrup and then there is everything else. The Steeves plant, in Elgin, New Brunswick had a disasterous fire this past may in which their plant was burned down.

Having grown up on "syrup" that is partially caramelized sugar, getting real maple syrup is still a treat.
