The Top of the World highway runs along the crest of the mountains instead of the valleys as most roads do.  The road  from the ferry to the US border was in vey good condition. The views were expansive and spectacular. The US end was no where as good. The road was as bad as most people talk about.  Chicken,  as advertised, but a little to fake tourist gimmicky for us.  Went on past and found a nice quiet state forest park.
