Gurgaon, a city that has existed since the days of the mythological Mahabharat is now India's
fastest growing city. It's proximity to Delhi, the undeveloped acres of land, its location on the
Delhi - Jaipur national highway and the strong support of a construction giant like DLF has made
this village into prime property for Multi-national companies, big industries, call centers, young
graduates and retired pensioners alike.

While the construction is booming, with new corporate towers, apartment complexes and malls
mushrooming everyday, the infrastructure is struggling to keep pace. There are fewer schools,
hospitals, police and fire stations, markets and public transport than are needed. The roads are
wide but of poor quality. Rain water drainage is non-existent and good hotels scarce.

Though slowly, things are improving, mainly due to the constant inflow of companies, people and
money. For a working professional Gurgaon is a great city, the right mix of world class office
buildings, comfortable and fully equiped apartments, and a lot of dining choices. On the weekends,
one can always hit the highway and explore the nearby states. Jaipur is three hours away, Agra is
four, Delhi is one, Shimla is six, the list goes on.

So if you are looking for a job, or looking to outsource your business, Gurgaon is a great bet.

Which has largedt railway JUNCTION in NORTH INDIA.

hello iam sahil, ther i no doubt that gurgaon is future city of india but now days lake of some basic needs is big problem ther. But after five years it would be singapore of india. no doubt.

I've been looking at the pics of the major cities in india. Gurgoan looks cleaner and has better looking buildings that the others!

Thanks to DLF, Unitech and other builders .. the city looks good... but i can bet its a worst city with regards to infrastructure and city management... No electricity, No water, Bad Roads.. And on rainy days its a worst place... the way it is going with increasing population , this city will be a big disaster if govt doesnt act.

building and it's structures do not make a city perfact until unless basic amenities are being provided by the govt.I have heard a lot about water and electricity problem in Gurgaon.

You have captured Gurgaon as the city is being built...lot of barren space and these tall structures. It will be nice to see how it looks in few years.
