Purim is the Jewish costumes festival. In jerusalem it occurs a couple of days after the rest of Israel. In the ultra orthodox neighbourhood of Me'a (100) She'arim (gates) the celebrations are quite unique. This is an opportunity for these conservative Jews to break almost all barriers and act in opposite to their normal routine religious lives. They get drunk, put custumes on, allow kids smoking, dance in the sinagoges, and so on.
