Very warm, sunny and windy today with highs near 90. A complete turnaround in the weather from earlier in the week. I took this one yesterday evening. I had seen that they were budding last weekend and made a return visit. They really add a splash of color to the forest floor. They are not overly common, but where you find them, there are a lot of them.
