Blue Thunder is a kit-built aircraft modeled after the North American P-51D Mustang at 3/4 scale, known as a Thunder Mustang. It is made of composite material and powered by a 12-cylinder Falconer engine. John Parker, owner of American Air Racing, has built Blue Thunder for air racing. John's business specializes in the construction and speed modifications of kit aircraft.
