The German Museum of Technology has seen a number of different "teasers" in front of its main gates. For years that used to be a Dornier VTOL aircraft (see http://www.pbase.com/soenke/image/165115303), now it is an old lifeboat of the German Maritime Rescue Service. Said boat used to be on station at Kiel-Schilksee- where I spotted it years ago ( see http://www.pbase.com/soenke/image/136850890 )
