Stolpersteine (lit: stumbling blocks) are an art project and memorials at the same time. Set into the sidewalks in front of their former residences, the plaques list the names and data of holocaust victims. Most of those are not famous, but normal people. The idea is that the passerby is suddenly confronted with the history of the very place they pass. These are for a couple, Abraham and Cäcilie Rosenfeld
