Spring 2005 migratory yard birds

First migrant arrived on March 8. Fifty six species seen this spring in my yard:

blue-gray gnatcatcher, white-eyed, blue-headed, red-eyed, and warbling vireo, ruby-throated, buff-bellied, and black-chinned hummingbird, cedar waxwing, eastern wood pewee, chuck-wills-widow, common nighthawk, hooded, yellow, common yellowthroat, black and white, northern parula, wilson's, Tennessee, Nashville, yellow-rumped, black-throated green, American redstart, Kentucky, worm-eating, blue-winged, chestnut-sided, bay-breasted, Canada, MacGillivray's warblers, northern waterthrush, scarlet and summer tanager, rose-breasted grosbeak, painted bunting, indigo bunting, blue grosbeak, dickcissel, great-crested, olive-sided, least flycatchers, eastern phoebe, empidonax sp., Baltimore, and orchard oriole, yellow-breasted chat, catbird, black-billed and yellow-billed cuckoo, wood, swainson's, gray-cheeked, and hermit thrush, veery, ovenbird, house wren.
