playing with Photoshop

From March-May 2007 I took an 8-class course called "Photoshop for Photographers." It was part of the Continuing Education program at Detroit's College for Creative Studies, and was taught by Erika Lindsay, an excellent instructor. For me it was like coming full circle, since CCS was where I'd studied Fine Arts back in the 1970s. But this time I was on a much steeper learning curve.

How many brain cells is it we lose with each passing year? Well, at almost 65, my cells are rattling around in there with lots of room to spare! Quite different from when I was in my 30s. But I loved the challenge, and, after my brain got somewhat used to the process, I found myself playing with Photoshop every available hour of the day and night.

And that's where I remain today. Anyone know of a 12-step program for Photoshop addicts???

Technically speaking, I only use my own photos as elements when creating composites. And as of now, I do no digital painting on my images; Photoshop is my only tool.
