my last day at school

This photo was taken immediately after fifth grade graduation at the school where I've volunteered for the past seven years. I am holding the plaque created from a shingle off the school's roof. With me is Susan Briggs, the wonderful art teacher with whom I've worked all these years. Kathy Barker, the physical education teacher took this picture using my camera.
